Kailee's cake!

Kailee devoured her cake on her actual birthday and again at her party. Here are some video clips of the day and then some pics comparing Hailey and Kailee on their 1st birthdays...

The first clip of Hailey cracked me up...she was so excited about Kailee's birthday and all Kailee wanted to do was eat her breakfast in peace! :) And then after the singing, I put the video in fast forward to speed up the cake smashing time. :) And somehow she was able to still sleep restfully that night after all that cake (Mason also killed his cake the night before and apparently wanted more) :) And I still have one more post to create about their party...

Our week at KoOlina

We had an amazing time using our timeshare for the first year...our first of many family vacations! The girls were incredible, the weather was perfect, and it was so relaxing to just wake up and wander down to the beach or pools. We BBQ'd a few times, went out to dinner once with the girls and then once alone (thanks Lisa) Even though we were literally just around the corner from our home, it felt great to be out of the house and not have "chores" staring you in the face :)

The Birthday Girl!!!

Just a quick post with some birthday fun! We are at our timeshare this week at KoOlina and loving just being able to wake up and walk down to the beach or pool. I'll post more pics and videos after we get home and Leevi leaves, but here are just a few pics of the birthday girl! She had her 12 month check up today and is 22lbs and 29.5 inches.

A "family" again!

We found out this morning at 3am that Leevi was in Atlanta and would arrive today at 2:30pm!!! Needless to say, it took me forever to get back to sleep! I told Hailey when she got up and she spent a lot of the day making signs and pictures for Leevi. We marked our calendar with a heart today (and notice that yesterday she decided to make a "H" for Hailey instead of an "X")
We didn't have to wait long...his flight was 40 min. early!

Kailee had a fake lei to give Leevi because a.)she would have fought Hailey for hers if she didn't have her own and b.) she would have just picked all the flowers off a real one! :)
