We are finally in the single digits until Leevi gets here!!!! He only has a few more days until he heads to Kuwait to begin his journey over here. We will hopefully know his itinerary on Thursday with a potential arrival on Saturday! These past few weeks have just crept by...it's so close now!!!
The video is of Hailey playing "webcam" with her toy that is actually a pretend grocery store cash register. She calls it her computer and webcams with Leevi on it. I've gotten video twice of it, but I miss the cutest part at the beginning where she pretends to initiate the video call with Leevi and will say, "can you see us yet?" just like we do in real life when we webcam with him. :) And the second part of the video is of Kailee with the daddy doll.
It's starts with her holding her babies up to the "webcam" to talk to Leevi. It's hard to understand her conversation because she's talking into the microphone, but it goes something like this...
"I love you, daddy"
"I love you, daddy"
"see you soon. bye"
"is it freezing?" (she still gets confused about the term "frozen" when our computer screen "freezes" when we are webcamming him :)
"is it freezing?"
"see you soon. bye"
"you hear Kailee talking?"
"Kailee is talking really loud"
"you hear her.ok. bye"
Leevi sent the girls some dress up clothes from Afghanistan. Hailey REALLY loves this dress but it's too small for her. She calls it a wedding dress. I think Leevi has bought her a new one. This one is actually pretty tight to get on Kailee because of the material, but we got it on at least for a picture.
The baby doll obsession has begun...new post on that coming soon!
Hailey found this in my pajama drawer the other day. It was Leevi's high school football jersey. He had given it to me to sleep in the first time we were apart from each other...I went to soccer camp at UNC for a WHOLE week! We had just turned 17 and it was the longest week of our lives! :) I guess it was the first test to see how strong our love was...if we can survive a week as teenagers surely we can survive a deployment 14 years later!
