I'm coaching Hailey's soccer team again this season! We are just about halfway through and have been enjoying some great non-Fall weather....70's and not a drop of rain. Our luck has shifted and its dropped to 50's and rainy. We have two weeks of byes and then two more games that will finish up the season in early November.
We are the
ONLY sports team left in Mannheim!!!! No other sport/age group had enough players (and a volunteer to coach!) so they have to travel to Heidelberg if they want to be on a team. The high school and middle school closed at the end of last year (those kids from here now get bussed to Heidelberg) so we really are IT! We really are representing Mannheim! :) The 7 kindergarteners wear their jerseys to school on game days! :)
We are having loads of fun and let's hope we have enough kids in the Spring for one more run before the installation closes in September 2012
