Instead of one of us making the 19 hour road trip to either Mo or Va, we decided to meet my parents about halfway in Tn. We found a gorgeous cabin on Homeaway.com in Fall Creek Falls, Tn (Spencer, Tn...East of Knoxville). It was absolutely perfect and something we could see ourselves buying one day as a vacation rental! The quiet little neighborhood had about 15 homes and was circled around a FREE yet slightly run down 9 hole golf course! It was too perfect for Leevi to walk out the front door and tee-off! There was also a pond just across the street that we fished in!

There was also a community indoor/outdoor pool that we basically had to ourselves the majority of the time!
We checked out Fall Creek Falls State Park and we are so glad we did! We knew there were hiking trails to waterfalls but we didn't realize how close and easy it was to find!
