Once we started getting plans together for this trip, we decided we wanted to get somewhere warm to soak up some sun after having a cloudy, rainy, cold winter in Germany. Leevi and I had been to Scottsdale, AZ for a babymoon when I was pregnant with Kailee (2 yr old Hailey stayed with the Stampfers)...we thought it'd be the perfect place to go back and rendezvous with the Doziers who live in AZ and Grandma, Grandpa, and Fancy Nancy made the quick flight over from Washington.
We were ready to be as low-key as possible and just hit the pool everyday and had a good time catching up with everyone. Leevi got a few rounds of golf in and Brandy and I had a day shopping with no kiddos. We debated about a day trip to the Grand Canyon, but a four hr one-way drive was just too intimidating! We instead opted for a 1.5hr to Sedona and we are sooooo glad we did...it was beyond beautiful and worthy of it's own post! :)
The weather was a perfect 90 degrees all week!!!!!
Not sure what made me remember this picture, but I thought they were pretty similar minus 2 kids and 7 years!!! On the left we had vacationed in Kauai with some friends over Thanksgiving. Hailey was 9 months old.
"Reunited and it feels so good....." They picked right up where they left off!!!! :)
1,2,3 jump!!! Kai started to jump until she noticed that Farrah didn't! :) Master sunscreen applier!
Relaxin and on the right is Kailee's Pool Bingo prize! :)
We were able to celebrate Farrah's 6th birthday at Dave and Buster's with them!
Besties Forever!
Farrah and Kailee...melts my heart...until we meet again!
