I've had some recent individual posts about Hailey and Kailee, so I thought Leila should get some blog time too. She's spoiled rotten and never had any proper obedience training, but she's a great pup and so tolerant with the kids. She's a little hyper with her initial greeting, but then she'll lay down and leave you alone. I've always been an animal lover, but never realized how much I could love a dog! She'll always be our first baby!!! The above pic is Leila as a pup...she was 7 lbs and 7 weeks old when Leevi brought her home as a surprise for me! Hailey LOVES hearing the story about how we got Leila! 
When she was 6 months old, she was bitten on the tongue by a German Shepard when she tried to lick him! It "forked" her tongue right down the middle!! I was beside myself!!! I remember crying when I called Leevi at work. She got 10 stiches, but they didn't hold and had to get them redone a week later! 
Her ears were down as a pup and slowly one by one they started to stand up!! Here's what she looks like with them down...you can see the part lab in her.
She was the BIGGEST snuggle bug when I was pregnant. Here she is cuddled up when I was 5 months pregnant with Hailey. Guess she was getting some last minute alone time...little did she know what was coming!!!
