We decided to splurge on the $1000 plane ticket to get Leevi home to us for the holidays. It was a crazy whirlwind of 4 days full of jetlag and Christmas but it was so worth every penny to be together as a family! We kept it a surprise from the kids and I only told them that we had to go to the airport to pick up a friend from high school who was visiting for a few days (wink, wink, technically it wasn't a lie!!!)
