Roadtrip to Va

School was out for just a few days before we headed to Virginia for a few weeks.  Leevi drove us and then flew home and came back to get us 3 weeks later.  The packing and the trip itself is always so daunting, but we all had a ton of fun!  Even though we have been in the States for a year now, it's still difficult to wrap my head around not stressing about remembering passports or flying in a foreign country and knowing that I can just go to Walmart if I forget something!

Luke was very helpful in vacuuming the van before the trip and it only took me twice as long. :)
Leevi was still on crutches for the trip over, but thankfully not on the return trip!
The ridiculous travelers...it helped that we mapped the trip out where they'd see some great friends at each stop, so the miles on the road didn't phase them!
Crazy dog...she had her own spot with her own comfy bed, but took a snuggle nap on Hailey at one point.
The first stop (after 6 hours) was in KY at the Greens!!!!  We stayed there from Friday-Sunday morning...fun for ALL!

The future Mr. and Mrs. :)

The Lukes
 The gang!
Allie was about 3 weeks away from turning ONE, but we snuck in her cake bday shoot anyway!  She was quite the willing participant!!! :)
We hit the road again on Sunday for an 8hr drive to Richmond...even though it's just 2 hrs longer than the 6hr trip to KY, a few gas stops and a lunch or dinner always make it about 10hrs!
The Faison girls were still in school, but our girls got to play with them a bit Sunday night and then for about 2 hrs Monday afternoon before we took Leevi to the airport and headed down to Va. Beach.
Will and Luke had fun together and we were able to see them again for a few days at the end of our vacation!  To be continued....
