A trip to the Greens and New Year's Eve

A few days after Christmas we headed to Kentucky to visit the Greens.  I can't say that Whitney did amazing on the 6hr drive, but she did pretty well and we were all excited to be out of the car!

They can pick up where they left off so quickly!!!!!!!  As can the parents! :)

The road trip home was smooth sailing until we hit St. Louis...our area had terrible flooding and St. Louis was even worse.  Part of the highway was closed and people were detoured through side roads and it didn't help that we got there at rush hour, ugh!!!!  It added two more hours to our trip, but we made it home safely!  Kudos to Leevi for driving in stop and go traffic with an unhappy baby!!!
We celebrated New Years Eve with Riley and her parents.  The guys watched the Michigan State bowl game across the street while Jennifer and I hung out with the kiddos until the game was over.

Luke asked to go to bed around 8:30 (woohoo!!!!) and the girls started fizzling around 11:30, but made it to midnight to go outside and bang pots and pans!  Here's to prosperous 2016 filled with happy kids, blessed parents, AND another move, sigh!!!  (I secretly LOVE a new adventure though!  I'm going to have a super hard time once we settle into our forever home!)
