Kailee had her 4 month check up yesterday (she's really 4 1/2 months already) and without a doubt she's a healthy little chub! She weighed in at almost 17 lbs! I thought for sure she was heavier than Hailey was at 4 months and was shocked when I looked in the baby book at home and saw that their weights were within ounces of each other.
Weights in comparison...
Hailey at birth: 7lbs 12 oz 20.5 inches
Kailee at birth: 7lbs 14 oz 20 inches
Hailey at 2weeks: 9lbs 10 oz
Kailee at 2weeks: 8lbs 13 oz
Hailey at 2months: 13lbs 3 oz
Kailee at 2months: 13lbs 11 oz
Hailey at 4months: 17lbs 6 oz
Kailee at 4months: 16lbs 14 oz
They have stayed practically on the same growth path since birth give or take a few ounces here or there and I just went by their dr appt date and I'm sure some of their appts in comparison were a few weeks off from each other. Not only do our girls look so much alike, but their temperamants are so similar...very mellow and smilely. Both use a wawa (pacifier according to Hailey's made up name) and snuggle their faces to a receiving blanket (both started that at around 3 months). They also both hum themselves to sleep if you are rocking them..."hmmm, hmmm, hmmm, hmmm". I suppose if Hailey were cloned, she'd be a good clone to have. She'll be a great big sister and we are so looking forward to a life with two young ladies!
