Kindergarten!

This little face is kickin kindergarten's booty!!!!  I've said in the past at how happy I was to have Kai home an extra year since she missed the kindergarten age cut-off by 2 weeks and while she was ready for kindergarten last year, she is definitely doing awesome this year!
Kailee's note to her teacher on the first day of school!
I've mentioned in a previous post that this is our SECOND wonderful experience with Mrs. Holmes since Hailey also had her for kindergarten in Germany.  This picture was taken on one of the last days of school...Luke was 2 months, Kai was 3.5, and Hailey was 6.
She is meeting all of her milestones super early...sight words, counting, writing numbers.
A gorgeous sunrise walking to the bus stop one morning: we've changed things up a bit now and Kailee rides to school with friends of ours in the neighborhood and I drive Hailey and her friend, Bri each morning.  The girls can sleep in an entire extra hour if we drive them and it just makes for such a less stressful start to the day!  They still ride the bus home in the afternoons because I wouldn't be able to get them home much faster since I'd have to pick them up at different schools...they are the first stop so it's not so bad.  We don't walk in the door though from the bus stop until about 4:25, so it can make for a rushed evening if we have a sport that afternoon.
A postcard we got in the mail...
Kailee's first school project...she had to disguise a turkey so he wouldn't get eaten on Thanksgiving.
