Kailee's birthday weekend!

(She is in the 80th percentile for height!  I wish she'd share some of that with Luke who is in the 13th!!!!)
I've said in the past that I'm never a fan of birthday posts because it means my babies are growing up too fast!!!!!  This sweet girl turned S-E-V-E-N in September and we had a whirlwind weekend of celebrating!  She had a birthday party after school on Friday and soccer games and a family trip to Six Flags on Saturday (her actual birthday).
Pizza for dinner with her besties (Madison, Riley, Kai, Rachel, Lyla, Hailey, and Riley)  These are a great group of girls and we are so fortunate that they are such a big part of Kailee's life (and we love the rest of their families too!!!)
I threw together some fun party games...a dress up race/relay team effort...

A balloon carry relay...

A few individual games (they had to draw a stick figure and write their name on a plate on their heads)
And suck M&M's to the end of a straw and into a cup
And get an Oreo from their foreheads to their mouths!
 Present time!
Lots of Monster High goodies
 And American Girl doll toys!
I think I have a picture of this face every year opening presents!!
The gang!  Kai specifically requested a 'drop-off' party without siblings! :)  Madison's mom stayed to help me and Luke and Leevi went down to their house to hang with her dad and brother! And three other sets of parents went out on a dinner date...win/win!!! :)

 Cake time!!!

After cake they all broke off into little groups to play with the new toys!  This was probably the first party where I've set a time, 5-7pm, and had actual activities planned and it worked great...we kept everyone upstairs or outside and I didn't have to worry about cleaning up a messy basement after the party!
After everyone left and Leevi and Luke came home, we FaceTimed with my parents and Uncle Mike (since it was his birthday too!).  He flew home to Va Beach for the weekend, so it was fun to see all of them together.  We bought him the Jelly Belly Bean Boozled game as his birthday present and bought a box for ourselves to play over FaceTime!  It was loads of gross fun! (In the box there are sets of jelly beans that look the same but taste different...dog food or chocolate pudding, rotten egg or popcorn, stinky socks or tutti fruiti to name a few...you definitely need a napkin to spit in and lots of water! :)
Saturday morning before soccer games we had a birthday breakfast and family presents!

And then after soccer we drove to Six Flags and stayed until closing!

Hailey and Leevi did a few coasters that Kailee still isn't tall enough for and Kai, Luke and I went on the Ferris Wheel.
 Riding the train...

I lost track of how many times in a row Luke rode this...way more than 10!!!!!!!!

And they all love to drive the old timey cars...
