Trick or Treat

We had a great Halloween evening starting with dinner at the Stampfers and then trick or treating around our neighborhoods and then a Halloween party at the Buelows. I'm not sure how Tiff and I survived Trick or Treating by ourselves with two one year olds, a two year old, a three year old, a four year old AND a dog....are we amazing or insane??!!! Of course the kids have no clue the sacrifice we make at these attempts at great experiences, but we fight through and are counting the days until Leevi and Jim get home!!!! (Tiff and I are planning on sneaking away by ourselves to a hotel for a whole weekend...we figured the dads can handle one weekend alone after our 11 months alone!)

We trick or treated from their neighborhood to ours to drop off Leila and then trick or treated back to the Stampfers. The kids got a ton of candy (and good candy too!!!!) but there was hardly anyone out! Pretty disappointing compared to when we went onto Schofield last year. I picked through the candy this morning and am giving a lot to a teacher friend to give out at school. Hailey won't eat ANY of it!!! Weird kid! No complaints there from me....she only likes the M&M's. I saved a few Reese's and Twix bars for me and then need to get the rest out of the house fast! :) When we left the Stampfers we walked over to the Buelows for a Halloween party. Kailee crashed on the walk and stayed asleep and Hailey played for a bit with Brooke and her uncles and then crashed also.

Just me said...

That was an awesome idea to have a theme! I'd have to say one my favorite pictures is the sleeping munchkin. :)
